A Average Life.

I`ve been thinking a lot about my future lately. And they way I’m taking now is leading me to an average life, which I DON’T want. I don’t want to spend my life working as a lawyer or salesman or something like that, I can’t stand to do the same thing every single day. Of course I am not the only one who doesn’t want an average life. I live in Norway and it feels like I`m trapped here, and there`s like no way out. I want to explore the world as much as possible. And there are so many things I have to do before I die. The world has so much to offer and so many people are choosing to live an average life. But do they ever think that it’s what they will be doing for the rest of their life?

When the world has so much to offer, I can`t stand to sit here and keep on with my normal life, and not try to get a unique life!

Well I do want to do something with my life it’s not so much about having a unique life I don't want to be a thug or the owner of an oil conglomerate. I want to be of worth to the world, if not to society at-least world far more important goal in my mind. make the world a better place even if I don't change peoples attitude.

Unique as in a guy who seen a two dozen counties or becoming someone like Obama, he's not average.

Life is very dull, Lasse. You'll have some great times which makes it worth your while to actually bother living, but you'll end up working more than having fun. Unless you plan your future extremely well and the obstacles life throws in your way barely miss you, then you can probably land a job you might actually enjoy doing. But the majority of people are in positions they would have never imagine themselves being in.

I could be selling cars all my life; it doesn't mean my soul was taken away. I don't know what stops you from travelling the world even if you are a salesman. Make your money and take a vacation every year, or even two a year.

And people don't choose to live an average life, why would people want that? Why would someone want to work at McDonalds for the rest of their lives (Some weird people might actually enjoy working at McDonalds though)? Sometimes people are forced to do these jobs because they have restrictions that won't allow them to do anything else or because they were just unlucky in life, because life is not fair.

I agree though that maybe Norway might be holding you back. Most countries, cities, provinces try to specialize you in areas related to the place you live in, they don't want to be specializing individuals and then have them leave to go work abroad.

Take some trips out of country. Take a significant other, a friend, or just go by yourself. It really helps to bring the world into perspective, and it will help you feel less trapped.

Yes ofcourse everybody`s private life and such is verry average. but what you do for a living can be something unique if you just get there.

I always felt the same way, even when I was a child I always thought being a lawyer or a salesman was like bieng a pawn for someone else, but we can change this if we want to, personally I always hated the average things, I hated the average games that average people played, the average movies that average people watch, the average everything that average people did, I have my own style in everything I do, I even spend like half and hour trying to get a unique screen name (without any numbers) when registering for an account on the internet.
