Hey, I was reading a news article today and it said, that in an australian city, they banned all bottled water, because they donť need it. Well, wasnť too long ago actualy, I remember that the I power crew made a video on the topic of "Drugs in the water".
Well, that's a major strike for people's choices of alternative water.....
As for it being okay to drink from the tap now.....
No. in Australia, United States, and A good part of Canada (unfortunately, but it's not in my part of Canada) water is usually fluoridated and so as a result I wouldn't be heavy on the water if I were you.....as for the possibility of drugs in the water....that IS a possibility as well.
You can of course get water another way that is, getting a reverse osmosis atmospheric water generator. That stuff is pure as can be problem though is the generators are relatively expensive.
The Justification in Canada/Us as well as a tad in Europe (I think, but Many have said no Including Deutscheland and the Netherlands from what I know) is that the use of Fluoride is "beneficial" to fighting tooth decay and so is added into the water supply.
However due to the controversy in Canada about it the decision of whether to have it in the water or not is decided by municipalities.
Of course they fail to realize that fluoride in high amounts (over time low amounts as well) can cause dental fluorosis as well as MUCH more severe health effects.
See my provincial government for this info (if you can reach it)
Well as far as is it better drinking bottled water and tap water, it's the same. No seriously, most bottled water comes straight from the tap at the facility. If you're worried about your water, buy a water purifier and put it to good use.
Seeing the banning of bottled water as an affront to freedom of choice misses the point. The ban is for environmental reasons. If you're concerned with fuoridisation of water, you can always buy a purifier. If you're concerned about having to drink water from a cup, you can always buy a durable bottle that can be refilled. A lot of people don't realise that simply filtering their water at home makes their water more pure than many bottled water brands. The fact that bottled water is so freely available could be seen as an affront to our rights to a clean environment.
this is crazy lol...should i stop using toothpaste? and also about this thread, would banning the bottled water in certain areas mean that the government has more control over the people?
Hmmm, They banned it because it has no Fluoride in it that's why unlike tap water why is Fluoride in drinking water bad for you? here's a rough explanation.
I don't believe in the death penalty. I just really don't like the whole mob idea behind it. It's like they have no chance if they are innocent. I'm one of those people that thinks you should be able to take the law into your own hands and deal wi...
