Hey guys, I know I haven't been on much here for a while but school and work have kind-of been getting the best of me. Writing a paper in english right now over there's even a remote possibility of the US or other international superpowers becoming dictatorships in today's day and age. What do you guys think? I believe we're already there but not in the sense of a single person like most people think of when they hear the word dictatorship but rather another one: federal reserve bank. It's a private bank that has grown far too large and has far too much power over the US economy and therefore over the world economy.
I know many of you are outside the US but many of these policies and such still greatly effect you so I'm curious to know your thoughts on the matter.
I never bought all the conspiracy theories surrounding the federal reserve, but I do believe the system on the whole is wrong. As far as I know the Fed actually lends money to the US Government and gets paid interest, which means from the moment money is printed more is owed than there actually is.. which I don't even know what to think about. The U.S. economy has become such a self sustaining machine that it's hard to see who's really controlling it, maybe it is bankers in suits behind the curtains...
It is estimated that the United States of America has about 1300 billion dollars in debt. ~44% of that debt is owed to China and Japan.
China and Japan almost directly pay the wages of American soldiers, allow the US to bail out banks, improve infrastructure, etcetera. These two countries have far more power over America than the federal reserve bank.
I think you got this idea from Zeitgeist, and if you did, you should remember to always check for facts when you hear absurd stuff like this. (Be it that Jesus is derived from Horus, 9/11 was US-planned, or that the federal reserve own America.)

(Edit: oh, and this is excluding the 115.3 billion dollars the US owes Hong Kong)
No no, I don't mean to say that the federal reserve owns the US. I'm simply saying that the federal reserve has too much power over our economy I believe. Therefore that directly effects both China and Japan's economies. While the minuscule amount the US actually does have to our own may only be a little in comparison to what foreigners own, it's still enough to tip the scale on the world economy. It'd be like a domino effect. I don't mean to say at all that a bunch of hospice patients rule the world from behind their board room desks and piles of dirty money. But hey, I guess that's one that Joe Blow won't ever really know.
Hmmm....What would I do? I'd probably do something based on who they were or what I had against them.
But if it's a prostitute I'd probably do the classic (or what has been recommended as the most painful thing).

I'm thinking that people don't give him much attention because it is a morning where they are tired, and when people are tired they tend to reply heavily on routine (not that they don't when they're awake). Most people's lives are so set in the sa...
This is a blog post I made on blogspot. What do you guys think about my positions?
While I am no active supporter of President Obama and his policies, I will not stand for idiocy spewing into the mainstream.
Anywho, for a while now, even during ...
Jones is a nutjob. He's ego is too big to understand how the world actually works.
His sensationalist, idiotic rhetoric, pisses me off.
Start reading some Chomsky, Zinn and Zizek.
