Self-Development Activism

If you had a perfect clone of yourself (personality-wise), someone who has all your weaknesses, all your strengths, all your habits, your thoughts, your feelings, etc. and you had to live with this person, what would your relationship with him/her be like?

Would you trust him/her? Would you ever fight? Would he/she get along with you at all?

I find this a very interesting question. Personally I think I would be my best friend, cause I trust myself.

dude. i'd love this person. how could you disagree with yourself... and even if you do, wouldn't your other person do the same... so you end up agreeing?

I would probably be irritated at her quite often, and get hurt by and accidentally hurt her. Don't think we would listen to each other very well... and get bored of each other. But she would be invaluable when it comes to understanding others, myself, and we would also understand each others errors and forgive. I don't think I would want to hug her or so though.. I'm not that fond of hugging small persons :P

uhm, I think it would be the end of my days... The two of us would at some point end up infront of a computer and watch every episode of NBC the office, school rumble and Dead like me, over and over. I take it we would die on the same time too right?

dam i just thought about something similar like this today, and came on to post it but then i see you already did XD.

ill just add it on to yours then hope you dont mind.

imagine running into yourself somewhere like at a party at the mall or at a friends house anywhere you want, what would you think of yourself(you dont know its you, if you know you would probably walk up straight away because you know everything you want to talk about). imagine seeing yourself through a strangers eyes.

i just realized that i would probably see myself as weird through another persons eyes.

Wow, that's an entirely different setting. I have no idea how strangers see me. I absolutely would not know, what would happen. Also, I could not think of any way to find this out.

Well lets say I would have complete trust in him...but I wouldnt like him as a friend, because I akways look at me from some side of view and I say to myself that I actually hate the way I act normally (I dont hate myself, but if someone like me showed up I wouldnt like to be his friend or somehing), I would use this clone to talk about my thoughts

I think not, Most people are afraid of seeing their own flaws and faults, so a clone would be like a mirror reflecting your whole persona, so I dont think most people would even stand to be around their own clone, unless its the norm.
Though, open minded people would find joy in it, i presume.

It's like being recorded on camera, and then see yourself from the side. Hm, interesting idea, maybe I should do that someday in the future.

I would definitely get life insurance, kill my clone and then collect the money unless he decides to that before me... We would end up killing each other somehow.

My clone and I would strive to be different.

That's an interesting question! A while ago, someone has asked me this question: Would you like to be your friend? I thought for a little while, and then said 'Yes, I would like to be my friend.' Remarkably this also made me instantly feel a whole lot better! The more I thought about it, the more sure I became about it.

Yet maybe I would be disappointed, if it came true. Anyway the reason I think, I would be my best friend is because than I would have a person with the same values, and beliefs, I could talk to. We could discuss things. This could theoretically get boring, as we would know each other so well. But it depends. Like, we could read different books, and then discuss them. Or a film that one of us would see and like, he could recommend it to the other me.

Also there could be no misunderstandings, I would not be upset, because I would know, what the other version of myself is up to ;)

First of all, there is no such thing as a censored scientist. Secondly, maybe the reason why your numbers are "SO" different from the majority of the scientist's is because you are DOING IT F-IN WRONG, so you are guaranteed to end up in the incorre…
