I was watching this commercial while I came to theory that the man who turns stuff into skittles would be invincible. I came to this conclusion by theorizing that if this man got shot than the bullet would turn straight into skittles and fall into the ground as soon as the bullet came into contact with his body. Also another example of this theory is that if he got stabbed the same thing would happen as with the bullet, it would turn into skittles and fall to the ground.
The point of this post is because i wanted to know what other people would think about this interesting topic.
Ok, if the skittles man really existed, he would not be invincible.
Proposition 1:
The Skittles man, being able to turn anything he touches into skittles, would have to physically touch them with his hands only, as we can see that things do not turn into skittles by touching any other area on his body.
If he were shot/stabbed in the hand, then yes, what you are talking about would happen.
Proposition 2:
Skittles man would not be able to harness his ability for any real productive use. Being unable to touch even himself, he would most likely spend his life being taken care of, similar to someone who has no hands in the first place.
Skittles man would probably touch himself and /suicide imo.
I guess you are right, if he was invincible, then his clothes, his chair, the ground and eventually the entire earth would turn into skittles, i guess you have proven me wrong about my theory.
Another thing is even if he put up his hands to block bullets from hitting him, the speed of the bullet would not be slowed down, so instead he would end up getting hit with like a speeding skittle which im sure would still be lethal xD
Well to counter your point, we do not know if whatever he touches loses momentum, i will have to ask the skittle company to make a new commercial where there is a ball being thrown at him.
Maybe they could gradually take some of the skin off his hands and put it everywhere else on his body, but gradually enough to give him time to grow back after each transplant.
Well, what happens if the man touches more skittles? Does it turn into twice as many skittles? Or does it not work?
Because i was thinking,(If it didn't work to turn them into more skittles) people should make him a glove made out of skittles!
I don't think so, it looks like one might touch his hand 0:39-0:40ish plus I think when he touches something and it turns into skittles it doesn't fall before its turned into skittles so he would touching it as skittles right when he turned it into it. Also maybe you should of posted this in the philosophers group.
It's a very old fairytaled dilemma, best known as teh kING mIDAS mYTH WHERE EVERYTHING HE TOUCHES TURNS TO GOLD AND HE ALMOST DIES OF STARVATION; sorry for caps didn't mean to shout don't want to retype though
Well were not talking about Midas auto maintenance and repair or fairy tales, were talking about real current events that can be backed up by a video source.
Yes, I think that teenagers, today at least, are much much unhappier than adults.
I'm not an expert in this area but from my point of view I think it's because they're given too much pressure i.e. because we're obviously living in a fast-developin...
Tbh, I think an Arab's definition and usage of the word "insane" is quite different (or really different :P) from the english "insane" ;-]
I hope you understand what I'm trying to say ^ -
If sane is of healthy mind then insane of of unhealthy mind…
in which case… well we just defined sanity.
now what level of health is required for someone to be considered healthy?
