Self-Development Activism

hello mates,

I was walking into my room this morning and i noticed that my mood/feelings were changing as I was walking into and out of my room. It was a feeling of I don't care when I walked into my room, and when I walked out into the hallway it was a feeling of relief.(/insert highly opinonal hypothesis ) What was causing this was years of extreme procrastination and it got worse as time flowed on, and I was getting really frustrated over it but alas, I could never beat it. That feeling of not being able to beat it.(/done with highly opinonal hypothesis)

So now I'm going to do an experiment to see if the procrastination continues. I'm going to do allof my schoolwork/important projects in life in another location. The location will vary depending on the action, but I plan on doing all of my homework for school in my brothers room(he's at college) or outside while its still warm. The first thing I'm going to do is handwrite my college essay outside then type it on my parent's computer(which is not in my room) and see how it goes.

hope this helped anyone with similar problems in their life as it may help them.

Well just adding something there....

I noticed that when i tend to do something while laying down like on a bed or something then i can't focus well and i tend to get all lazy and stuff...

It's a whole different story if i was to sit on a chair with my back straight and with my book on a table and start to do my work...so i definitely agree with you on that the environment does have an effect on our mood.

I could never do my homework where I lived. Libraries are my domain.

Think about the stuff you did/do in your room. Both positive and negative. Does that influence the way you are thinking about taking present action in said room? Does it make any kind of sense for your environment to influence your decisions and actions? Is your environment really what you are? I think not. Change your environment, if you can, project your best self onto your surroundings. Maybe a bit of cleaning. Maybe an open window. Maybe some fresh decorations. Throw the old out and usher the new in.

Nick speaks the truth. If it bothers you so much then dont go near anywhere that celebrates it. I'm not gunna go to the middle east because I can't stand their backward ass culture, I'm not gunna sit and bitch and whine about their backwardassness…

Interesting. I would also agree that we are at stage four if we are a tribe.
