I drink a beer again once in a while.. Still in moderation... I shouldn't be moderator of this group anymore I guess.. Sadly there is no system in ning that allows to pass group ownership to someone else... Ah well, Can't harm I guess!

True. The reason I mentioned sXe it's cause I also fit the requirements but all in all that label says very little about me as a person. As for drinking..it will be 3 years in December this year since I quit..and I did it FOR ME. I think people that are sXe (the real ones) are sXe because they agree with their 'rules' not because they are made to follow them. And yeah, I don't see them as rules that much..more of a choice. I greatly value the power to have a say in something related to my person. :)

Haha, well sXe is quite a nice group name, but also a label that holds a lot of denotations about who you are, ...:) I personally don't like to label myself with sXe even tough I meet the requirements:) I'm me, i don't drink for me, not for this straightedge ruleset:)

I have a very good story. A few nights ago I was a at a popular bar/pub in town and I approach the bartender for a good ol' glass of ice water, expecting to get the usual *sigh* followed by the "if you wanted water then why did you come to a bar" look . Too my surprise he said, it's good to see somebody drinking water in this place, and even went so far as to say that it is good to see at least one sane person in this place! One positive change at a time!
