Seriously though the best psychological thriller ever has got to be Hannibal.
BTW anyone See Mirrors. No one I knew wanted to watch it, but if someone could remind me of the writer that would be great. Anyways it was excellent, a complete 10/10. It had this great feeling to it, of wonder and terror at the same time. Maybe not the scariest movie, but definitely the most surreal and chilling. Although it doesn't beat The Mist in terms of surreality. Anyone who watched it late into the night and saw that hulking, massive, shadow walking around over the car has to agree that was the most surreal thing you'll see in a movie.
Stephen King has always been my favorite horror writer. And this reignited that flame. Even if it isn't The Master of Horror himself.

And P.S: Alan Rickman as Jack if there's another Shining Remake.
Not to mention casting Johnny Depp as Norman Bates.
Come to think of it I'm actually writing my own idea for a horror/dram/thriller.screenplay. Its called October.

Well that was just creepy.But still AWESOME AS HELL. Moving on I love horror movies
and to quote James, who pretty much beat me too it.

I find nothing scary about watching someone dismembered or tortured in films such as Hostel, Inside, etc. My reaction to those films are shock and a queasy feeling in my stomach but not fear. To me the best scares come from the building up of tension through suspense, the unknown, sudden surprise or a twist at the end."
However goriness has ceased to effect me. I just come to a realization that its nothing beyond the ordinary and i used to it. Its like an immunity.
Its like, look there's gore. I'm not scared of the blood. I'm more afraid of the cause. Although if your really screwed might as well go out fighting.

To be honest i dont really know why i joined this forum because horror movies kinda freak me out =P But then i love to be scared... on occasion haha =)

i don't love horror movies, but i like them. if there's a horror movie on movie theaters, i would only go watch it if people recommend it to me. but if there's a horror movie coming on TV i would watch it.

Horror rules ^^ is it possible to change the group title or anything though? It should be horror and thriller as it's close to the same.. maybe include psychological movies as they rock too :)
