open borders would be a great idea... especially because it is a social injustice that my own Girlfriend is unable to simply come to the USA and with her skill set look for work. Closed borders keeps out some people that are not wanted, but at the same time it also limits business and opportunity for MANY more. Better to have open borders and a self regulated force on undesirables.

and it would make jobs, - paddy wagons :)

The only major thing that the libertarian party believes that I disagree with is open borders. But other than that, I agree with the ideals, and am glad to be a new member. yay. lol

I've been a member of the libertarian party for as long as I have been political. Interesting how I take flack from my Republican friends for being so left wing, and my Democrat friends for being so right wing. It only goes to show how much they speak out of ignorance.

abortion sucks and so does social security, but i'm all for liberty. the little things can fall by the wayside for the meat & potatoes. freedom. we need to get the power to the states and then down on to the people.

I'm joining this because I like the Libertarian Party. I'll even invite my friend list (800+ People) if you guys promise not to turn this into some conspiracy theory/ron paul lovefest/anti-nwo haven. I agree with all of the principles of the Libertarian Party (listed above) and can see myself becoming a very active promoter here but please don't give me the alex jones/infowars/zeitgeist routine PLEASE. I pay attention to it all with an open mind and have conferred with Jones and the Loose Change people, so I do respect it but I don't wanna be subjected to more fear mongering. I like solutions and I believe Libertarians are a good source. That is why I've joined. Any objections?

Privatize S.S. Hmmm.. I say just drop it completely. If the bankers and government would stop stealing our money from us we would be able to have a very high standard of living and save a massive amount of money for retirement.

Nick speaks the truth. If it bothers you so much then dont go near anywhere that celebrates it. I'm not gunna go to the middle east because I can't stand their backward ass culture, I'm not gunna sit and bitch and whine about their backwardassness…

Interesting. I would also agree that we are at stage four if we are a tribe.
