The Open Source State

"This best society of Man shall justify and dignify all human Beings, and present individuals with the avenues they need in order to live an unmolested common life as they see fit, within this framework of law; that is of such a design as to provide to all men and women: the freedom, liberty, and ability to pursue, with their neighbors, the best life possible. The power of Man's society shall derive from the efforts of a common life: one that facilitates the creation and provision of values, necessary and desirable, to sustain and promote stability, order, and the development of an authentic, fluent, legitimate, and intimate human character, having the inviolable goals of universal happiness and wealth, without fear of injustice or violent conflict.

We shall become our very best, when we become ourselves together.
"

Preamble to the Constitution of Man

The Constitution of Man

The theory states that, human Being tends toward the development of character, and that, as such, the common character of all Mankind should be capable of definition and provision.

Human beings develop their character in relation to others (social character), and in relation to themselves (individual character). By an appropriate development of character, human beings achieve happiness, wealth, and influence; though, it is an important distinction here, to say that wealth and influence do not find appropriate expression in "money" and "power." Wealth, for example, as human character regards it, implies a substantially good quality in the individual's health and relationships.

The Constitution of Man would, in theory, pave free and open avenues for all individuals to pursue happiness, wealth, and influence. The document would not restrict access of these desirable things, to only those who have best adapted their social character to a competitive economy. This form of governance would base its limited bureaucracy on the goal of discovering these avenues, by appeal to a special type of governmental abstraction. Rather than having justice find its basis on appeal to the mandate of elites, these abstractions would be defined thoroughly in such a way that would allow dynamic, spontaneous revision, as social paradigms change. In this way, the state will act as a limited governor of social character.

The balance of power would be checked, and promoted, by appeal to the following institutions, which, according to the theory of the Constitution of Man, would find their basis as the foundation of human Being, and their legitimacy, as such.

The Institutions of Human Character

The Seven Movements
These are "Positive" characteristics of human Being, in the affirmative and giving sense.

These may be prepositioned in the "Individual" and "Social" sense, where "Individual-Presence" would be how one is present on their own, and "Social-Presence" would be how one is present in society with others.
(Read as: "The values, experiences, and feeling in your (Ind) and our (Soc)...")

[Presence]
[Work]
[Allocation]
[Acceptance]
[Relation]
[Authority]

The Seven Barriers
These are "Negative" characteristics of human Being, in the absorptive and removed sense.

These may be prepositioned in the "Individual" and "Social" sense, where "Individual-Absence" would imply how one is absent on their own, and "Social-Absence" would be how one is absent in society with others.

(Read as: "The values, experiences, and feelings in your and our...")

[Thought]
[Absence]
[Leisure]
[Consumption]
[Rejection]
[Alienation]
[Ignorance]

Approaching the Development of Character

This is the theory of the Constitution of Man, that social stability and social order will best be promoted and preserved if the formation of states rest on the recognition of, dignifying of, and intimate relation to, the character of its citizenry and its collective struggle by individuals to develop it. The state's goals would all have the ultimate purpose of providing these avenues.

The purpose of this group is to examine the institutions present in the Constitution of Man and define their expression in our lives.

To put it very simply, what are the values and principles that you yourself hold precious, and would want such a world justice system to provide for in its basic laws?

Everyone can change the world for the better of course their should be things like a charter and a convention, on the power of nations most certainly. but nations should have individual sovreignty non the less, actually individuals should in my view have greater autonomy then any arbitrary unit.

I added a "Preamble" to the Constitution of Man.

Is this inadequate or limited? If so, how could we improve on it?

People of prominence are not necessarily good people. But they rule the world. All people are created equal. That is a lie here in the USA.Are the majority poor or rich? The poor suffer at the hands of the rich. There is no liberty and justice for all.Like the constitution says in the USA.Can a persons character be harmed by the injustice?Have you ever gone without food for weeks?I have in the USA.Ever sleep out in the cold? I have.Ever been wrongly arrested and beat up by cops in front of your kids?I have.Right here in the USA.Ever disagree with a war.I do!!ever hate the USA for what they do.I have.Ever say the pledge of allegiance at school? The end they make kids say, with liberty and, justice for all.I will never say it again. Its justice for the ones with lawyers.Ask the millions with no lawyers in prison who were put there so they make cash on prisons.Ever watch the news.Do they tell what they want you to hear?Or the whole truth?Ever think maybe change will never come.Ever notice how great men like King and Kennedy mysteriously are killed or assassinated.Ever think Obama is next?Ever wonder why the Guantanamo bay exists? Why don't the get a trial?Ever wonder what the real truth about the war is?I do.Ever wonder who the USA will attack next.I do.Ever have a son who wants to go fight a losing war.I do.Ever try and always do the right thing and fucked ?I do.Ever hear how with the patriot act they can filter billions of emails through and spy on a word.I have.Do you think they like what i said?.I don't.Ever get angry with all the injustice.I do.Ever give up?I never do.Ever try to walk the mile in my shoes?Yea i think a character can change.Ever go to college forever and not know, how the streets are, and have no, common sense?Ever want to hear a really good story in language you can understand.I do.Ever feel belittled, i have.Ever belittle people? I never have.Ever had part of your foot amputated.I have.Ever have to steal to live?I have.Would you ever talk to me on the street and be nice because you treat all as equals?Even if they are different?Ever have to lie?I do.Ever think elders have knowledge that they learned the hard way?Not in college? We need change the whole wide open world does.Because mother earth is angry at what we have done to her.And she needs our help.Ever think that when ya toss a plastic bottle out?I do.Ever hear people bitch about wind power i have.Ever think how much energy it would save to turn off every other street light in the world?I do.You are the new generation. You can help change the world for my boys. And all children around the world.Ever get depressed? i do.I wonder how beautiful the USA was before the white man came.It was like one big park. Now look at it.The native Americans have suffered. And i like their philosophy. And i use it.Ever drink too much.I did.Ever hear how you should accept ,the things you can not change?Change the things you can.I do not accept the things, i can not change.Because some things i have to face, and i can't run away.I will never ever accept some things.Ever have your kids mom take off 150 miles away?So you alone for 8 years ,care for them alone. With no life.No car.Barely any money?Ever go to a soup kitchen cause you'll run out of food?Ever give a poor homeless person a buck?I have.Ever think back and think man when i was broke feeding deer in the woods it was wonderful. No stress no problems. Not a care in the world.Ever think boy am i lucky i have running water.Ever try to forgive someone and you can't but you know you should?Ever procrastinate?I did my whole life.Ever think damit! i need to relocate? But i cant leave myself behind so why move?Did anyone ever think morals are important?I do.But it hurts my life.Ever think how much the war cost the USA?And how much good the USA could have done with the money.Ever think bin laddin is laughing about our economy .Because he planned this.Ever think shock and awe was great revenge?I did.I don't now.I do not agree with it at at all.We are weak how they like it.We the USA are weak here.Ever play the game risk?I am a survivor.Ever ask for therapy and be told you don't need it ?And be told no.I have.I could go on with this run on sentence forever. You should never look down upon someone. You should think how they feel. How did they get like that?Ever go to New York city on a train and choose to drink with a bum?And realize hey they are human too.And then notice you were pick pocketed.Ever want to tell a story with art.I am going to on you tube.LetArtsLive.And artists do not do it for pay.Not real ones. They do it because its a burning everlasting need to share it with the world.I believe in live and let live.I believe we can change the world with art.I believe money and power corrupt.I believe there is good and bad.I do not want to be bad.I want to fight for the good of allllll Humans.I believe this is therapy.Go deep, and bear your inner most soul.Because it heals you.I am a child of the sixties.Too bad it's never going to be like that again...peace to all.

This is Self-development Activism in the collective sense.

This group is dedicated to articulating the common values and needs of all people - citizens of all countries (including regions apart from North America and Europe) - and addressing those values and needs in a document, based on the character of societies and individuals, and governed by appeal to no higher authority than human dignity and character itself.

It is pure philosophy at this point, but keep in mind that all laws and all humanitarian crises, occurring at this very moment, are the direct result of a breakdown in our understanding and development of character. Before we can ever hope to approach a solution to the world's problems, we must articulate why the current world order is flawed.

Feel free to discuss any topic which you feel is a common value to all of us, explain where you feel its priority is compared to other values, and speak on how you would want a Constitution of Man to provide avenues to meet that common need.
