The vast majority of people don't really understand what Bipolar is, nor what the majority psychological actually are either. There was a point where I used to think having any sort of disorder was a serious problem, but I thought about it and reali…

A Bedtime Story

I invite you all to share your own bedtime story with me, post it on your blog, or in a comment, and let me know, I'd like very much so to read them.

Here is mine:

Once upon a time, there lived a couple of kids. These kids fell in love, and born of their love, was a little girl. Although times were hard, and money was tight, they did their best to raise their precious little girl in the most loving home possible.
Millions of miles away, across mountain ranges, across oceans, in a very differen… Continue

A Letter To My "Father"

Chuck,

It has taken a while for me to respond, because I didn't wish to send an emotionally charged letter that would undeniably be filled with things I may have later regretted saying.

First, I must ask, are you really sorry to hear I dropped out of school? Or are you just glad that you have one less bill to pay on my account? Honestly, I get the feeling it was option number two. Please do not assume that it was my health problems that caused this, especially when it was under my adviser's ad… Continue

Wedding Bells

I don't know if many of you are facebook users, but I sure am, and I'm starting to notice a trend.

I'll turn 21 in March.

There are about 10 of my female, and 5 of my male classmates from high school engaged or married right now, and these are only the ones I have on my friends list. There are probably another dozen or so who are engaged or married.

What is it about this time of our young lives that inspires us to hitch up and call it quits?

What happened to wanting to wait? What happened to… Continue

Love and Friendship (A Story)

**Warning, slightly explicit material to follow, if you're easily offended, you're reading the wrong blog anyway**

It was quiet curious the way his eyes seemed to gaze right through her. His hair was tousled from the wind. His delicate pale skin shown bright under the moon light. A bat flapped across the sky above their heads. She reached out to poke his side, a sign of affection, as long as one could understand her playful ways.

He blocked her, and for a moment their fingers locked. Both of t… Continue

Why Do I Do It?

He's got a girlfriend.. sure, she lives a million miles away.. and sure.. it's going to be a long time before they can see each other again.. and sure.. I've never actually met her.

But the fact is, he's taken.

So why do we hold hands? Why do we kiss behind closed doors, or when the lights go out?

Why does my entire body tingle when he's around?

I'm falling in love with him.

And he belongs to her.

Why do I do it to myself? Secondly, why do girls all over do it? Why do we let ourselves fall… Continue

Hi, I just read your blog post...you write so vividly, it's amazing. What a gift :) I wanted to offer a perhaps unusual perspective that I think you might find interesting and hopefully helpful, using a combination of an astrological and psychological background. If you're interested let me know at molten_glass_poetry@hotmail.com, and if not no worries :)
Take care.

That was a heavy blog post, I sympathize with you because I have had friends that have had thoughts of suicide, and I have spent long amounts of time conversing with them about it.

Pretty much anything that Steven Wilson is involved with. Blackfield and No man are my other two favourites by him. Theres also Pure Reason Revolution which i uploaded onto my page. One more, Ayreon. They are a little more progressive but the writing and concepts of the albums are really well done.

Speaking of writing, yours is really good, keep it up :)

You should check out Porcupine Tree. I know nothing about you, and i'm basing this on only one thing that you have written, so i'm probably wrong, but i think you would like them. A lot of their stuff is about sad/sick/sadistic things, but preformed in a beautiful way.
