as the title says, i'm getting a kitchen.
not at home but a restaurant kitchen :) i'm going to be working there for a week or two.
this means i'll be off i-power for some time :( but i think i will blog about it afterwards.

the thing is that the guy owning the restaurant were i'm working now has another restaurant a little north of here. he used to have some swedish guy working there but now he wantz to go home and he has noone in the kitchen, that's why i'm going there.

a little thing we learned in cooking school. to "blanchere" or whatever it's called in french.

u need:
a vegetable, for this community brocolli would be the obvious choice.
boiling water.
salt.
cold water

u do:
cut the brocolli like you want it.
boil the water and add some salt.
put in the brocolli for a short period of time.
take the brocolli out and put it in cold water, preferably with some ice.

and now you can boil, steak, bake or whatever u want to do with your brocolli.

This has been a monky week

i went to the shop to buy groceries even though it rained!
the standard edition of weather here in førde is wet, and i travell by bike!

i worked double shift's on friday and saturday. on saturday there was kind of hectical and there was only me and another trainee in the kitchen but we still got lots of compliments, we were master chefs like Ian!

and there has been al lot of life pwning but i don't want to write so long blogs.

two weeks ago i moved to another town, the same day my computer crashed.
i now have my own apartment and a new computer.

i've got an aprentice job as a cook at førde hotel. where i make awesome gourmet meals!! and i got an apartment, here i make monk food!!!

today i'm making panecakes!!!
okay... not especially healthy but i'm going to have blueberry jam on, and i made the blueberry jam myself!!! i walked around for hours picking one by one. i actually got 0,7 liters jam out of it.

al jazeera has gotten their hands on a book. it's a book with war-rules. i don't want to say much about it because i don't know much myself, i'd rather let you read yourself. but out from what i've read about the book it seemes like a positive change.
