Political Correctness - Has it Gone Too Far?

Here in the US, the news media is constantly feeding the fire that is political correctness. But, they're not the only ones to blame. Citizens are becoming part of this machine dedicated to not offending anyone. Using such phrases as "African-American, Native American, Caucasian 'Happy Holidays'," etc. I'm not saying that we should go out into the streets spouting derogatory comments, but we should at least try to separate ourselves from those who are so anal about trying to keep everyone inside… Continue

Learning the basics is far more important than learning to play songs at first. It may be more satisfying to play songs rather than scales but if you go straight for practice instead of theory you'll stunt yourself massively.
