Greed is Good

Desire is what drives us on and it is our permanent state of not being content that fuels our desires. Greed, per se, is not bad depending on what you are greedy for, for example: If one is greedy fo…

What's your opinion about Germans?

I think the way History is taught at school has a lot to answer for in terms of creating prejudice towards Germans. I remember from my own experience that the bias was so strong and on such an emotio…

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll make sure to check them out..
We'll probably go for the really cheap restaurants though. The stay for one week is costing us enough and we still wanna go shopping and stuff. So a restaurant where you have to pay £60 per person is a little out of our reach. But thanks anyway! If I were going with some rich folk, I'd definitely make 'em go there :p

I'd love to go to that poetry cafe and we're definitely going to visit some museums. My cousin thought it'd be nice to catch a play too. Looking at the Westend site...

I love when I can see lightning. :]

Yes, unfortunately I have 3 more years of High School.
I'll be starting my sophomore year.

The virgin initiation varies from theater to theater. Usually you go on stage, make a fool or yourself dancing and dressing up. :] Or..other times you have to do something really embarrassing like fake an orgasm onstage. It all depends...

I had to add The Libertines. I had to share the magic with I Power. :]

The weather is ok here, it isn't the best actually. It's really hot. :] How is the weather in London? Not as hot as here I'd suspect. :]

I'm 24 days away from being 15, which means I get to drive soon! Hopefully. :]

I used to be up until all hours of the night on the internet, not being able to sleep. :] But, my dad didnt like me up until 7am on the computer. So he set a limit of 10:30. Damn.

When I go to Rocky Horror I really want to go on stage and do the Virgin Initiation! It sounds like fun. :]

Hey, if you dont mind me asking; What is your real name? :] I'd feel calling you an erudite imbecile. :]

I haven't been doing much, just enjoying my last few days of summer. School starts in 4 days.

If I were a guy I'd for sure be Frank n' Furter. Sadly, I have to choose from either Magenta or Columbia. Janet is a tad plain for my taste. :]

How are you doing?

Awww. Damn.

Well, so far I like Dont look back into the sun, Narcissist, Can't stand me now, I get along, and Time for heroes. :]

I'd just heard Mercy mercy me yesterday, and naturally I loved it :] I love Eddie Vedder too, I havn't seen Into the wild, but I'll check it out. :]

Hahahah, are you really dressing up? I may go as Columbia, but I haven't fully decided. :]

Books that have had a big impact on me are: Aldous Huxley's: Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell, George Orwell - everything I have read of his, specifically, 1984, Oscar Wilde - The Importance of Being Earnest, William Blake's - Songs of Innocence and Experience, Baudelaire's - Les Fluer du Mal, and lots more.
Goals/Projects/Aspirations:
In September I will be heading off to University as a mature student, so to complete my course and achieve a first has to be one of my goals. I, like most people would like to think I will change the world for the better, but I'm hoping that will just happen and that I won't need to make any major plans of how it will. To find balance would be good too.

Nick speaks the truth. If it bothers you so much then dont go near anywhere that celebrates it. I'm not gunna go to the middle east because I can't stand their backward ass culture, I'm not gunna sit and bitch and whine about their backwardassness…
