Hey! It's been a long time since I said anything to you. Haven't really been on here for a good while.
Alot of stuff has happened in my life since last time we talked. Wow. The I-Monk thing inspired me, but I never fully took it out completely. I'm excercising every day now though, and I've gained several pounds and I'm starting to develope muscles, it feels great! I've been building my self-esteem hardcore style, but I've been working on way different things than the iMonk community.
However bad it might sound, I discovered the Pick-Up Artist community, and it's fascinating me beyond grasp. Haha, within a short time of reading alot of different stuff coming from the community I feel like my eyes opened big time.
What have you been doing in the time since we last talked?
Ah, well, yeah, I talk about this site wherever I can, to friends, on my blog, twitter, etc.
I drink, but I don't smoke, though I haven't put those up as my affirmations or pledges, for me it's about pushing my self-esteem and killing my shyness pushing my comfort zone to be much bigger.
Other than that I'm more about pushing for truth and openess. One of my favourite phrases of all time is "Beware of he who denies you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master"
Nice, net-neutrality is so important it's hard to even begin to stress the point xD
I got to know about it through a friend about a year and a half ago when it was starting up, but it wasn't untill a few days back I figured I'd check it out more closely, as I basically had left most movements stressing the individual as the most important part.
I was part of a socialist youth organisation, where I even sat in the national council, the highest instance of power within the organisation outside of the national conventions (held every second year) and I led a local club of 20 members, but I lost myself to the organisation, and being a revolutionary and an individual, I panicked once I really got to understand how buraucracy and centralisation and even organisations destroyed the revolutionary cause. I am still member of the party, and I also sit in the national council there, but I stopped being active and I am going to take leave of the organisation and all my holdings there as well, as I'm no longer interested in active politics. The political system and the democracy today is a joke.
(wall of text, sorry)
Other than that I also found an imense interest with the iMonk concept, and I started doing it right away after I started iPower. The social part has been kinda left out for now, partially because I don't have time, and partially because I don't quite dare xD I have an exam in two and four days, need to practice :P after that however, I'll push myself to the limits, even got a buddy with me doing the same thing now!
Other reasons for joining: I'm maybe an individualist to the extreme, and the only way to emancipate the world, is through raising the individuals to be able to critical thought and opinion. The Zeitgeist Movement is part of that idea, and so is iPower, be the revolution ;)

Hah, cool to hear! So you're a bona fide driver and scooter'er now? (I'm sure there's a proper word for that, but I prefer making up vocabulary when I lack it.)
Pretty much the usual going on here, trying to work on new stuff, shooting for GunkTV and Youtube, etc. How's you?
Nick speaks the truth. If it bothers you so much then dont go near anywhere that celebrates it.
I'm not gunna go to the middle east because I can't stand their backward ass culture, I'm not gunna sit and bitch and whine about their backwardassness…
