Atreyu Zuniga Phase One

This is to "show,, where i'm at and what I want to do. 1.) Right now I am not working, and am taking an elective class at the Austin Community College. The elective class is a writing skills 2 class- that will help me with the composition classes I will be taking to complete the 2 year plan for liberal arts. (I want to get that plan and post it to show the 2 classes I already passed- psychology, and history 1, and to check off other classes that I complete. 2.) "I need a job". I already had a… Continue

Jeremiah Rentoule Things I want to acheive and things I have Learnt.

Okay, so I am overseas. I am here for three things I am here to 1. Learn about the world, about society, people and the world in general, people beliefs, peoples fears, what makes people tick, what makes people happy, what is real when it comes to our lives and how to live them. 2. To not only find myself, define myself, discover my weaknesses and strengths but develop myself. I need to look at myself and find those areas of my life or my character which are lacking and to improve them and to on… Continue

Well, in the spirit of IPower i am going to blog about my own self-development, considering the thing i need to practice the most is talking to girls... i am basicly hopeless talking to girls, i can talk to girls on msn and stuff, but thats it, i am horrible talking to girls, so i will be blogging about my attempts to talk to girls i will update a new blog every week, and i will make sure i do at least one interesting thing to blog about. also, comments and advice would be appreciated, and rem… Continue

Marth A shift in consciousness - Or: The will to put my thoughts into actions, discovered

The more I reflect upon this, the more I think yesterday was a turning point in my life. Yesterday... a slow day at work, not many e-mails coming into the service desk inboxes. A perfect day to hang on the iPower social network, and have discussions on various topics. And that, I did. Even had my first "friend" in my list. But that's beside the point. One of the discussions that I stumbled upon was from the "Approaching Women" group. It was about articles written by dating guru David DeAngelo.… Continue

Jinn Monk goals

Oki doki.. Monk Mode goals :) Since I've started Parkour I have got so much stronger, physically and mentally. Don't get me wrong I'm not superman or anything but if I compare myself now to myself a year ago for instance I would see such a massive difference. Firstly, my body shape/strength has improved alot and secondly my mind has improved so that things that would have seemed really scary to do before (e.g. vaulting a wall, etc) I now find fairly easy. Thing is self improvement is a bit of… Continue

Christian 'Ensey' Sjøbeck Endless self-development?

I suddenly started thinking about IPower, Self-development etc. the other day. And what it would lead to. IPower focuses on developing yourself into the person you want to be (popular, social, charismatic etc.), right? Well, what if I reach my goal, and then change my mind about how I want to be? Then reach that same goal again, to change my mind once more? Is it possible to reach a loop of self-development? If so, is it then healthy to never feel that you are the person you want to be? That y… Continue

aaa aaaa Solution to creating Sustainable Housing for 6 billion, including everyone -pure inspiration!

[video at bottom of post] I saw this a while ago and its the most inspiring thing i have seen in a long time. THE MOST! the thing i get from it is that it's currently possible to provide for everyone and invest in everyone, but we have not realized it yet. Human brains are one of the most numerous things on the planet and due to spread of power and wealth and 'diverse' attitudes about the value of life and education, those brains get asymmetrical treatment, and why spare even one human brain? ev… Continue

Thomas L. Self-development stage 1 : Knowing yourself

In order to improve yourself, you have to know that there's something wrong with you, because there're a lot of people who think that they have nothing to change in themselves, and they're ok with it. For example smoking? There is no "good" side of it, since you smoke now because you want to, but just because you have to, but ok, I'm not into arguing here, so here are the main ways to know if you have something to change: 1.First step : look around your room, if it's messy, then you're messy, c… Continue

Dean Leysen Monk month - day 2: Full Woo!

F to the Low bitches! Full woo! Day two of my monk month and I'm definitely in Flow. Not much discipline required so far even though I'm still recovering from a flu (which does mean still no workouts or contrast showers,) so in light of that I've been as productive as I could be today trying to do all the stuff I've been planning or working on that doesn't require too much physical effort. I've mainly been working on structuring and writing out some self-development material that I migh… Continue

Dean Leysen Monk mode update

Just wanted to say that I'm still going with the monk mode discipline training, but I didn't update my blog yesterday since Remy came over and we hung out all day; he's still here so I'm dropping my workout and a few other things today in favor of spending more time with him. I'd stick by my schedule all the way otherwise, but quality time with friends naturally takes priority over many other things on my to-do list. In any case I want to say congrats to everyone who has been trying the monk m… Continue

Dean Leysen Discipline Blog: Day 3 (introducing the ice bath)

Day three of the Discipline Exercise Week: 1) Work out for 40 minutes every day, stretch for 10 minutes after every workout. Check. Did all that and an additional stretching session. 2) Proper contrast showers every day (meaning stand 2min+ under the cold water at least) Double check. Besides my usual contrast shower I actually even had an ice bath today. Basically I just filled the bathtub with ice cold water, added ice cubes to make it colder, and then went to li… Continue

Henrik Good Luck with Self Develoment

Since I quit WoW and started to study computer languages as part of the journey to improve myself. I have been getting pretty lucky. Here are the things which have been happening to me as a result of my studies in computer stuff: - My teacher saw some of my potential and decided to take me along to Microsoft where I got to test out some new games and also I won an X-Box 360. This was however stolen by my headteacher and is now used at school for computer clubs and Guitar Hero. - I got offered… Continue
