This is to "show,, where i'm at and what I want to do.
1.) Right now I am not working, and am taking an elective class at the Austin Community College. The elective class is a writing skills 2 class- that will help me with the composition classes I will be taking to complete the 2 year plan for liberal arts. (I want to get that plan and post it to show the 2 classes I already passed- psychology, and history 1, and to check off other classes that I complete.
2.) "I need a job". I already had a…

Okay, so I am overseas. I am here for three things I am here to
1. Learn about the world, about society, people and the world in general, people beliefs, peoples fears, what makes people tick, what makes people happy, what is real when it comes to our lives and how to live them.
2. To not only find myself, define myself, discover my weaknesses and strengths but develop myself. I need to look at myself and find those areas of my life or my character which are lacking and to improve them and to on…

Well, in the spirit of IPower i am going to blog about my own self-development, considering the thing i need to practice the most is talking to girls... i am basicly hopeless talking to girls, i can talk to girls on msn and stuff, but thats it, i am horrible talking to girls, so i will be blogging about my attempts to talk to girls
i will update a new blog every week, and i will make sure i do at least one interesting thing to blog about.
also, comments and advice would be appreciated, and rem…

Another great day! This is just getting better and better.

The rest of the day I hang out in the nearby park with some friends, drninking some beer and playing some ball, so it was an all in all great day.

The more I reflect upon this, the more I think yesterday was a turning point in my life.
Yesterday... a slow day at work, not many e-mails coming into the service desk inboxes. A perfect day to hang on the iPower social network, and have discussions on various topics. And that, I did. Even had my first "friend" in my list. But that's beside the point. One of the discussions that I stumbled upon was from the "Approaching Women" group. It was about articles written by dating guru David DeAngelo.…

What's very common in people who live an ego-based lifestyle (which simply means that that they derive their sense of worth mainly or exclusively from external factors) is that the external factors they correlate with personal value end up distorting their image of reality and of others around them to a point that what they're doing is actually complete insanity.
When you relate your self-worth to external things (i.e. you feel more worthy or valuable when being complimented by friends, when ha…

Monk Mode Day 2
Alright day 2 done :) I'm feeling a lot happier as I got more of my goals, and working out makes your body release a hormone or something that make you happy.
-Contrast Shower- yup, I was planning to meet a friend and got up a bit late so I couldnt have a long contrast shower. 4/5
-2 hours of Parkour- I've done about 7 hours today :) it was awesome 5/5
-As little unhealthy food as possible- 2/5 had a good breakfast and dinner but I ate quite a few sweets during the day…

Oki doki.. Monk Mode goals :)
Since I've started Parkour I have got so much stronger, physically and mentally. Don't get me wrong I'm not superman or anything but if I compare myself now to myself a year ago for instance I would see such a massive difference.
Firstly, my body shape/strength has improved alot and secondly my mind has improved so that things that would have seemed really scary to do before (e.g. vaulting a wall, etc) I now find fairly easy.
Thing is self improvement is a bit of…

All the monks in the hizi throw yo hands up!
I'm back in action and I've got life on a tight leash with a taser gun pointed at its crotch (I could just say "life's my bitch" but I felt like using a weird metaphor.) After a little interlude called flu (and catching up with a lot of work) I'm 100% back in gear, Reese and I are finalizing some stuff for the new I Power series and we'll be shooting shortly if all goes well. Despite having been sick I so far also followed the rules of my monk month…

I had a big event yesterday.. my first public presentation of my new company/ practice...at the local "Wellness Fair". It was a small turnout, and I was super glad for that actually. Self marketing is not my strong point- but I'm learning. I am so much more comfortable listening rather than talking- thats why I"m a counsellor! Well I know that I want to work on this, so thats why I'm putting mysefl out there. I tried to make notes for the presentation but I was so anxious.. had a hard time narrow…

I suddenly started thinking about IPower, Self-development etc. the other day. And what it would lead to.
IPower focuses on developing yourself into the person you want to be (popular, social, charismatic etc.), right? Well, what if I reach my goal, and then change my mind about how I want to be? Then reach that same goal again, to change my mind once more?
Is it possible to reach a loop of self-development? If so, is it then healthy to never feel that you are the person you want to be? That y…

This is actually quite interesting. I think I'm coming up with a little rebellion to this monk mode, on a subconscious level. I may have overcommitted myself on my plans, I'm realizing. Well that doesn't mean I'm giving up--I will stay in the game for sure. I think I actually set superhuman standards-- a typical thing for me to do to myself, so I'm not going to go too hard on what I don't get perfect.
Wow I just reviewed the list and I realized that I actually did the majority of these things,…

Alright so I realize that I have to forget about my boyfriend, get ready for college, and eventually lose 10 pounds.
D: I mean if I do my best I could become a better person mentally and physically, which would be so much win.
So I made myself a schedule-like thing.
1. Wake up at 7 every morning. Waking up at 11 everyday is too late.
2. Get on my bike and tear up concrete for 1.5 hours. :3 Riding a bike is so much cooler than walking or jogging, and weights aren't my thing. They make me feel li…

Hey, I'm Arthur Warzick... better known As Ryogo or just Ryo....
Well, i'll cut to the chase. I'm a fat lazy slob. though my personal hygiene remains above average, my room is a mess, my thoughts are a mess, and my body... a mess.
I'm 17 years old and weight nearly 210 pounds. I'm also very short being a bit under 6 feet. as you can tell, not a very attractive figure. but in reality, I couldn't care less about how I look, i care about how i feel; currently i feel like shit. 2 years ago, over t…

Hey there.
As Dean already said:
Fuck the silver, go straight for the gold.
My goals are (by roles):
As a self-developer:
- Properly do all exercises for college
- Attend all classes
- Socialize with fellow (random) students
- Get ironing and laundry done
- Learn Chinese
As a healthy individual:
- Don't eat out. Ever.
- Daily contrast showers
- Strength and cardio workout three times a week
As a nerd:
- Get my projects coded, up and running.
- Finally get into the IPower Commun…

In order to improve yourself, you have to know that there's something wrong with you, because there're a lot of people who think that they have nothing to change in themselves, and they're ok with it. For example smoking? There is no "good" side of it, since you smoke now because you want to, but just because you have to, but ok, I'm not into arguing here, so here are the main ways to know if you have something to change:
1.First step : look around your room, if it's messy, then you're messy, c…

F to the Low bitches! Full woo!
Day two of my monk month and I'm definitely in
Flow. Not much discipline required so far even though I'm still recovering from a flu (which does mean still no workouts or contrast showers,) so in light of that I've been as productive as I could be today trying to do all the stuff I've been planning or working on that doesn't require too much physical effort.
I've mainly been working on structuring and writing out some self-development material that I migh…

Just wanted to say that I'm still going with the monk mode discipline training, but I didn't update my blog yesterday since Remy came over and we hung out all day; he's still here so I'm dropping my workout and a few other things today in favor of spending more time with him.
I'd stick by my schedule all the way otherwise, but quality time with friends naturally takes priority over many other things on my to-do list.
In any case I want to say congrats to everyone who has been trying the monk m…

Day five of the Discipline Exercise Week:
1) Work out for 40 minutes every day, stretch for 10 minutes after every workout.
Check and check, ain't no thang but a chicken wing, bitchez.
2) Proper contrast showers every day (meaning stand 2min+ under the cold water at least)
Check. Good weather outside makes this quite a bit easier, actually.
3) Strict health diet (only vegetables, fruit, whole grain foods, water and healthy teas)
Check. Less healthy than usual mayb…
