As I outlined in the original blog, I went through a two week total monk-mode experiment to test the limits of my new state of mind. Ever since I experimented with proper meditation and 'being in the moment' I noticed it had become more difficult keeping up full discipline because I spent most of my time being sort of 'disconnected' from the pa… Continue
Aight, not much to say, I've been pretty sick the past few days so things have been a big more difficult but I stick to my shit and hit all 'perfects' on my checklist every day, bitchez.
For the most part I've been totally in flow so it's all been pretty easy but since a few days now I also have to rely on discipline a bit to kick myself back in and it's been a great experience to train the old discipline muscle further again.
In order to reinforce my state of mind in these areas, I also sorta… Continue
Tiny update:
Finally the experiment is now also training my 'discipline muscle' since I'm a bit sick, making it harder to just rely on flow. Nevertheless, my lifestyle is still one of being in the moment as much as possible and having to rely on pure discipline at difficult moments is not messing with my head. So having spent so much time being in flow and being in the moment has not really tampered with my discipline. To the contrary, flow cultivates a specific sense of clarity that urges you… Continue

Day 7, bitchez. First week is DONE and man, that was pretty easy. I have a clear focus on things so I'm very aware of when I should kick myself back in flow and it's just been awesome and smooth. Thus far, this two-week monk experiment has taught me something very valuable: the importance of flow.
It's like there's a pattern, the happiest people you know in your life usually seem to be in a constant 'flow' of things. They're driven and always busy and when they're not... Well that's usually whe… Continue
Yesterday (day #5) was a bit fail since I was totally messed up due to lack of sleep. As a result, I still did all of the basic disciplinary stuff I had set up but slacked in some other areas (i.e. I did my morning routines and ate healthy throughout the day and all that but didn't manage to answer all my mails etc).
So today... It's REVENGE OF THE MONK. Full force kicking my ass back in gear and seeing if I can get back into flow even though I still feel really drowsy. I am the revolution, bit… Continue
(here's my original blog on the experiment I'm doing)
Just a quick update, bitchez!
Not much to say, it's day #5 and it's mostly smooth sailing! Getting all 'perfects' on my daily checklist and actually not having to rely much on discipline to keep myself in check...
-BUT REESE, HOW DO YOU DO THAT? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?!
It's simple, my young padawan learner. I use a form of arcane energy we call FLOW.
-OMG… Continue
Through certain insights and new meditation techniques I've recently come to a point where I'm able to be 'in the moment' almost all the time, meaning I fully 'enjoy' pretty much every minute of my day, regardless of what I'm doing. (this in itself is something we'll get into in-depth in videos really soon) However, at one point this started messing with my discipline a bit. I could for example violate my strict diet more easily because I realized it wouldn't make my day any less enjoyable, ther… Continue
(for future reference, this blog post was part of the 'Revolutionize ur Life' community project started in this video: http://ipower.ning.com/video/revolutionize-ur-life )
YES IT IS TRUE, REESE IS AN UBERMONK.
Posting my list to officially partake in this glorious revolution!
1) Full workout and stretching every day.
2) Serious hardcore contrast showers every day.
3) Strict health diet: cut out everything that's even in the slightest a 'guilty pleasure'.
4) Social practice: whenever I have a… Continue
12/02/2008 - Right after the international anti-Scientology protests of February 10th, YouTube has been blocking nearly all Scientology-related videos from getting to its 'Videos' front page. The anti-Scientology protests were one of the biggest displays of internet-activism to date, and it's saddening to see that such a massive worldwide event that normally would have dominated YouTube's entire 'Videos' front page was co
IP was a no-budget free-to-download movie that was made scene-by-scene chronologically. Each time a scene was finished, it was put online so that people could already see the movie up until that point and interact with us about where it should go n
When we launched the satirical '40,000 blowjobs' campaign, we were a political movement called 'NEE'. The campaign was a stab at the political climate that was filled with false promises and was aimed at raising political awareness, stimulating people to be more critical and active in demanding politicans in general to practice what they preach. The campaign was originally intended only for Belgium only, as it was a direct parody on other Belgian parties who were making ridiculous promises (s
Over the past few years, there has been an increase of debate, legal disputes and political activity surrounding net neutrality: the principle of a completely 'open' Internet where providers like Comcast and Verizon simply give you access to the entire global network without in any way blocking or reducing the quality of access to certain services. The problem is that, especially with the drastic decrease in popularity of traditional media, it is becoming far more profitable f… Continue
Hey everyone, the next few days may be a bit bumpy for the network because I'm about to reset it to standard Ning code but the latest version of it so that we get all of the improvements, then right after I will reintroduce all the code changes that make I Power such a unique place and gives it such a unique look. So if you experience some issues or some weird stuff... Hang in there, this place is gonna rock even more in a few days from now.
(and of course, messaging/friending issues will be fi… Continue
