Awesome.. What you said about imagining yourself at the end of your life and making decisions based on how you would feel about them then was very interesting to me.
I'm not specifically advocating Maslow's hierarchy, but instead the principal that as our needs/desires are satisfied, we seek high forms of satisfaction, and as we progress "up", there become less things available in the world that can satisfy us (thus approaching the 'apex' of self-actualization / self-realisation or whatever you want to call it).
just a tip: Maslow's hierarchy of needs isn't claimed true by a lot of people, including myself. Don't believe in the hierarchy, those words meanings can mean different things to different people. You can be 'self-actualized' without all desires satisfied below... How could Maslow tell what makes you happy bytheway?
